About Us
The Oquirrh String Quartet is an ensemble comprised of classically trained musicians located in the Salt Lake Valley with a passion for the music we play. We are dedicated to providing a high level of musicianship and artfulness, and we love to provide that distinctive, inviting ambiance that only live string quartet performances can.

We perform primarily for wedding ceremonies and receptions, but our repertoire includes music suitable for corporate functions, anniversary celebrations, or other memorable events. We welcome special musical requests given enough time to secure sheet music and prepare for the performance. See a list of musical pieces commonly performed by the quartet.
Cost
We believe that beautiful live music is something that
everyone should be able to enjoy at his or her special event.
Therefore, our rates are among the lowest in the area. We
charge $300 for the first hour of performance and
$200 per hour thereafter. A $50 non-refundable deposit is
required to book the quartet.
Location
The Oquirrh String Quartet is based in the Salt Lake City,
Utah, area near the majestic Oquirrh Mountains. 
We can travel
to neighboring cities including Bountiful, Layton, Park City,
Provo/Orem, or anywhere else along the Wasatch Front. There
may be an added charge if the quartet needs to travel an
unusually long distance.
Sound System
We also have a PA system available to rent which is ideal for an indoor or outdoor wedding ceremony, or perhaps for announcements and speeches at a special dinner. The system consists of two JBL EON 315 PA speakers (with or without stands) and an AKG D5 microphone with stand. The sound system is available at $80 per hour.
